Australia consists of hundreds of thousands of kilometers of empty space which is being put to apt use by its government. The glaring desert sun of this plain is soon to witness the world’s largest 18-hole golf course, stretching across 1,200 km.

nplainThe Nullarbor Plain, a limestone plateau is set to become the ideal spot for golf lovers.
The course is expected to open for playing in 2008.

This golf course is rather an unconventional one, with each hole being located at a different town along the course. Looks like golf players would be needing long distance transportation.

A hole course that might start at Kalgoorlie may end up at Ceduna.
To add more to it, one of the holes isn’t even located in a town, it’s at a secluded, out of the way sheep farm.
