Be part of the 10th annual Sydney Writers’ Festival!

If you haven’t already marked the dates in your diary, don’t forget that 10th annual Sydney Writers’ Festival 2007 runs from 28th May to 3rd June. Held at Sydney’s Wharf 4/5, the annual Sydney Writers’ Festival is the biggest literary event of its kind in Australia and one of the biggest book fairs in the world. Each year the event attracts writers and book lovers from all over the world The best of Australian writing with guests from around the country, including Inga Clendinnen, Richard Flanagan, Cate Kennedy, Alex Miller, Gail Jones, Kate Holden and literally hundreds more will be the highlights of this year’s festival. The festival will also feature a week of passionate debate and lively conversation of Australian authors, discussing their art, pondering the state of the world and interacting with their readers. A mix of more than 250 free and ticketed events including panel discussions, one-on-one interviews, talks, workshops, readings, performances, literary lunches, film screenings, walks and exhibitions will be presented in the festival. Booking tickets: The majority of Festival events are free but few selected are ticketed. Events at Sydney Theatre and the Richard Wherrett Studio are ticketed. Events at Pier 4/5 are free.
